C. Robert Perrin was a Nantucket resident and artist since 1946. He was well known for his paintings in abstract incorporating the unseen (ghost like impressions) within the reality.  In this print, note Perrin's creative use of Brant Point Lighthouse as the old salt's pipe, as well as scallop shells for his beard.  This print, Nantucket: "The Finest Kind", "Bay Scallops", is framed and dated 1978.  It is 19" wide x 24.5" high and in excellent condition.
