Vintage magazines make great coffee table books and this issue of LIFE magazine (Jan.27, 1947), with its stunning BW photo of the Sankaty lighthouse, is one of the best of the vintage Nantucket magazine covers .  Unfortunately the cover's image is from a photo essay of the East Coast with emphasis on lighthouses but no other reference to Nantucket. Who cares? It's the cover that makes your coffee table look more distinguished, not the article inside. The magazine is in Very Good condition with just a few minor irregularities along the edges which can be clearly seen in the photo.
